I loved working with Hailee! She is just gorgeous inside and out and I'm thrilled she agreed to be my model. She is crazy photogenic but most importantly, she knows how to relax in front of the camera! I've been asked what made me choose the design, location and makeup for this session and honestly, I made every choice simply because I could. This shoot and design was basically whatever the heck I wanted. I wasn't going for a theme as much as just letting loose. I did her makeup how I felt it should be, hair how I felt like in the moment and photographed her in a location I love. :) For the pictures, I focused on how genuine and comfortable Hailee was and making sure my camera was in focus. Easy and clean.
I love how the session progresses almost like an accidental story. Like two sessions I one. If there's one thing I learned from this session, its that my gut feeling is probably right. There's no rulebook for art. Learn the basics like the back of your hand and then run with it. You never know what beautiful things might come because of it...
I have to mention that this session was done with Lancôme makeup products and a couple other personal favorites.. :) There's a list of the products below the slideshow. Please DO NOT copy or paste images!
